About the R3 Chef Challenge

If you show any interest in food and cooking, then there’s a unique opportunity to help you grow your skills with the R3 Chef Challenge. Students can transform this popular pastime into a life-sustaining skill or even a rewarding career if given the right opportunities and guidance.

Luckily, we have our own culinary programs tailored specially for our students, so that young learners can master the art of cooking in a productive learning environment. And, even if down the road they change their minds and choose another career path, there are other benefits of cooking classes for students that will be useful throughout their lives. It can be a career exploration activity or practical education for a future in food.

We've planned an exciting year of learning and flavor! Most Friday afternoons will be set aside for the R3 Chef Challenge. All students who are participating should craft an appropriately sized apron and chef's has in Fashion Design. Weekly challenges are listed on our calendar, and we'd love you have you join us on the adventures in food this year!

If you are a parent, guardian, family or community member and you'd like to lend your expertise, please contact the sponsors listed below and complete the Adult Volunteer form HERE.

Veterans Cookie Drive

The R3 Veterans Cookie Drive was a Great Success! On December 17th, a contingent of R3 students and teachers delivered holiday cookies in hand-decorated gift bags to local patients and visitors to the Veterans Administration Hospital. Over 100 students and parents participated in some way to make this campaign possible! Thanks, everyone!
