MahCounts makes learning math fun. We believe middle school is a critical juncture when the love of math must be encouraged, and a fear of math must be overcome. MathCounts has programs which build problem-solving skills and positive attitudes about math, so students embrace challenges and expand their academic and career opportunities in the future.

Ms. Janet ​WIlliams is the primary sponsor of the MathCounts series of competitive excursions. This is a brand new activity for R3 and for MASE. We anticipate that with the excitement of our students competing on a regional and possibly a national level that we will have just an active mathematics culture as we do in science and history.

Much more information will be available in the coming weeks. We WILL need parent volunteers to assist us with our efforts in this year's inaugural MathCounts season.
