Posted November 30, 2020
This will be the first year that MASE will enter the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge. NASA's engineering design challenge focuses on NASA’s current plans to explore planets, moons, asteroids, and comets -- all members of the solar system family. The NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge will be held in early April of 2019, at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. The challenge will focus on designing, constructing and testing technologies for mobility devices to perform in these different environments, and it will provide valuable experiences that engage students in the technologies and concepts that will be needed in future exploration missions.
TEAM America Rocketry Challenge

The Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) is the world’s largest student rocket contest and a key piece of the aerospace and defense industry’s strategy to build a stronger U.S. workforce in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and the National Association of Rocketry (NAR), TARC was created in the fall of 2002 as a one-time celebration of the Centennial of Flight, but by popular demand became an annual program.
MASE will be competing in events on March 3 in Russellville, Alabama. We also work in conjunction with the Mid-South Rocket Society who provides us with opportunities to launch and gain from their expertise.
